The castle of Sauveboeuf
This castle is quite unique in the Dordogne because of its Louis XIII style architecture which is rare in the region.
But this is what gives it its charm and elegance.
Situated on the banks of the Vézère, it has an idyllic, calm and relaxing setting with fabulous interior and exterior decorations and fittings. Come and discover its collections and its works of art which bear witness to 400 years of history, such as the Greek room of the British Museum or the room of curiosity.
Not forgetting its private museum of prehistory, almost unique in the world! A drawing part which relates all that there is in the museum, is dedicated to the children in order to learn in a more ludic way, all the history of our ancestors.
